Allow for discussion. Start a paragraph with a topic sentence, which states the main idea of that paragraph. Any time you begin writing about a new idea, begin a new paragraph. Option 1 Read one paragraph from each group. Go over the strengths of each paragraph, focusing on anything specific they need to learn.
